I'm currently serving on Austin's 2026 Bond Advisory Task Force, which is charged with developing recommendations for a municipal bond package focused on climate change mitigation and adaptation. Learn more.

I recently trained advocates in Dayton, Ohio and Austin, Texas how to engage productively with local elected officials to achieve their public policy goals.  

I helped Every Texan, Local Progress and the American Heart Association produce a roundtable conversation between members of the capitol press corps and elected officials on the abuse of state preemption authority. Learn more. 

I’m currently assisting over fifty Feeding America food banks to strengthen their federal legislative advocacy. I assess, train and connect these food banks to resources and partners that help them influence their lawmakers via direct lobbying, targeted media, grassroots/tops activation and coalition-building strategies.

I coordinated a collaboration between the Topos Partnership, Every Texan and Feeding Texas to define an aspirational, race-forward messaging framework designed to make progress on social welfare issues at the Texas Legislature. Learn more

I served on the Austin Charter Review Commission, where we developed proposed reforms to the City's petition / referendum process which could be adopted by voters in 2025. Learn more.

I assisted Leadership Austin in curating content for their inaugural Civic Activation conference, which helped nearly 200 Austinites take the next step in their journey as informed voters, passionate advocates and civic leaders. Learn more. 

I led a statewide conversation to define the scope and value of "root cause" work in the anti-hunger space, resulting in a strategic plan elevating this focus. Now I'm helping Feeding Texas align and coordinate twenty-two food banks around this new area of work. Learn more 

As a member of the Austin Library Commission, I actively contributed to efforts supporting the elimination of late fees, strengthened voter registration, advocacy against book banning and a pilot program to provide enhanced library cards to Austinites lacking a photo ID.
